Its tapered edge takes joint tape and compound like the surrounding board, and the panel is lightweight, mold and moisture resistant, and won't crack or shrink. Radius corners soften the outline. This hinged version hangs on European angle hinges. It is rated 0 for flame spread and smoke in ASTM E84 testing. This door is 24in x 24in.
