An exposed-grid access door drops into a standard T-bar suspended ceiling in place of a ceiling tile, giving quick access to mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems above the ceiling while keeping clean, flush ceiling lines. This Acudor EG-4200 door is 24in x 48in and fits a 23.75in x 47.75in (603 x 1213mm) T-bar opening.

24in x 48in (609.6mm) x (1219.2mm) - common in offices, schools and hospitals with lay-in grid ceilings.

Construction, per Acudor

  • Material: 14 gauge aluminum - lightweight and corrosion resistant
  • Door: Flush to frame with rounded safety corners
  • Frame: One-piece formed for strength; sits in the T-bar grid
  • Hinge: Exposed flush aluminum piano hinge
  • Latch: Stainless steel screwdriver operated cam latch (optional: Allen head or spanner head cam latch)
  • Finish: Baked white prime coat (additional finish paint is recommended for superior corrosion resistance)
